Quality and Certifiations
Officine Stefanuto S.r.l.'s quality system has been certified ISO 9001 since 1996, the responsible certification body has been Bureau Veritas since 2015.
Therefore, continuous improvement has been applied for years so that every project in all its phases and activities meets all standards with proven excellent results. For this reason, too, Officine Stefanuto S.r.l. has become a widely recognized and valued reference point.
The company works with certified welders, for welding carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel, using an operating procedure in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 3834 Part 2 standard (certification of the Italian Institute of Welding).
As envisaged by the European Regulation (UE) n. 305/2011 from 2014, the company is additionally certified with the EN 1090-1 standard with regard to the conformity of the production control for steel components intended for construction (steel structures and reinforced concrete mixed).
In October 2020 Officine Stefanuto S.r.l. implemented the qualification system of the railway sector according to UNI EN 15085-2. Certification according to this Standard is an essential element of guarantee and reliability for the safety of public transport through the quality control of the welding process.
In fact, it attests to the fulfillment of the requirements for the personnel involved in welding work in the manufacture of assemblies, sub-assemblies and components for rail transport required by the rail industry.
The management promotes its activities in an ethical way, with continuous improvement measures for customer satisfaction, and the requirements according to UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015, UNI EN ISO 3834, UNI EN 1090, UNI EN 15085 using an administration system and corresponding quality management system in the reference markets of our areas Civil, Industrial and Field logistics.
The inspection of the weld seams is entrusted to his own qualified personnel or to externally commissioned test laboratories. The UNI EN ISO 3834-2, EN 1090-1 and UNI EN 15085-2 certifications were issued by the Italian Welding Institute.
Officine Stefanuto S.r.l. is registered in the ministerial register as a transformation center for the manufacture of metal products.
